That’s just what our curious little shoppers did at New Era Preschool’s mini Fruit & Veggie Market!
With real fruits and vegetables on display, tiny hands got busy exploring textures, naming colours, and soaking in the sights and smells of the market.
From bumpy bitter gourds to juicy mangoes, it was a full-on sensory adventure.
The vibrant display featured everything from shiny apples and plump papayas to leafy greens and crunchy carrots with teachers even cutting some fruits and veggies for children to see, smell, and touch up close, bringing the farm right into our classroom.
Children loved identifying each fruit and vegetable, making real-world connections with what they eat every day to stay healthy and strong .
Kids also took part in fun pretend buying and selling, learning how markets work while building early vocabulary, observation skills, and real-world understanding all through joyful discovery…..
