A spectacular day unfolded at the Annual Sports Meet 2025–2026 of New Era Senior Secondary School, celebrating athletic excellence, teamwork, and determination. The event was honoured by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Shatrunjan Gaekwad, a distinguished former Indian cricketer who represented Baroda and was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders, along with our enthusiastic PTA members. The morning began on an inspiring note with the parade inspection, flag hoisting, and the soulful rendition of the school song, setting the stage for an electrifying day. The impeccably synchronized march past reflected discipline and precision, while the vibrant displays using umbrellas, dumbbells, and wands captivated the audience. Parents were left awestruck by the impressive pyramid formations. A truly goosebump-inducing highlight was the Relay Race between current students and ex-New Eraites, symbolizing camaraderie, legacy, and healthy competition. Students displayed remarkable sportsmanship and energy across events, passionately cheering for their respective houses. Parents thoroughly enjoyed the lively atmosphere, watching their children shine with confidence and joy. The celebration concluded with the felicitation of outstanding achievers, including Best Athlete (PS1 to SS4), Best House (Junior & Senior), and Best Marching Troop.
