NESSS organised an enriching educational visit to Model Farm, Vadodara, near Genda Circle, for the students of MS3 (Class 6) as part of the Kaushal Bodh skill activity under the domain of Biodiversity.
Students explored the historic farm, established in 1892 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III and now managed by Anand Agricultural University (AAU). The visit provided valuable insights into sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and modern farming practices.
The experiential learning opportunity helped students connect classroom concepts with real-life applications while nurturing communication, creativity, critical thinking, green skills, and vocational skills. It was a memorable experience that inspired curiosity, environmental awareness, and a deeper appreciation for sustainable living.
