At New Era Senior Secondary School, a safe learning environment is a shared responsibility.
A POCSO Awareness Session was conducted by Ms. Zenat Buddhvani, Counselor and Special Educator, for our non-teaching staff to strengthen their understanding of child protection and their role in ensuring students' safety and well-being.
The session highlighted the importance of:
* Understanding the provisions of the POCSO Act.
* Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with students.
* Demonstrating respectful communication, behaviour, and conduct.
* Recognizing the responsibility of every staff member in safeguarding children.
* Creating a secure, respectful, and child-friendly school environment through everyday interactions.
